Do you know Ayumi Hamasaki? She is a very famous J-pop singer in Japan. At first she is an actress while a singer. She debuted under AVEX and released "Poker Face" in 1998. And her first album, "A Song for XXX" was topped the Oricon chart for five weeks and eventually sold over a million copies. She has most number one singles and most million singles. Also she is the only singer who constantly releases a number one single every year and the first one who has eight albums top the Oricon chart. Now she is also famous in Asia. In 2007 she hold her first Asian tour,” Tour of Secret” not only in Japan but also in Taipei, Shanghai, and Hong Kong for four months. The tickets sold out for two hours in Taipei and sold out for three hours in Hong Kong. And she will hold “ayumi hamasaki ASIA TOUR 2008 ~10th anniversary~” in Taipei, Shanghai, and Hong Kong from September in this year. My 5th favorite song is COLORS. This song compares life to colors. By such point, I like this song.
And, my 4th favorite song is SAKURA drops. The reason why I like this song is that compares cherry blossom to love. Japanese people like cherry blossom!!
Next, my 3rd favorite song is Prisoner Of Love. I like this song's words and especially I like the part of 'my life suddenly changed from bored days to shining days when you appeared'.
And, my 2nd favorite song is Can You Keep A Secret? This song's promotion video is very nice. Utada and a robot appear and drive a car in this promotion video.
And, my best favorite song is...Flavor Of Life -Ballard Version-. I love this song. Because I sympathize with this song's words and this song's music is wonderful!!

History~Hikaru Utada~

Hi, nice to meet you! Today I want to tell you Hikaru Utada's history briefly.

Hikaru Utada is Japanese pop star. She debuted in Japan at 15 years old and it was 1998.
Her debut single is 'Automatic/time will tell' and it sold more than 2 million copies. Now, this single is the 19th sales record in Japanese single history.　
On March 10 of 1999, her first album was released. Many Japanese people expected first album of her. Its name is 'First Love'. This album amazed many Japanese people and sold about 8 million copies. This is the most record in Japanese music history. My sister also bought this album! Like this, Utada has been being famous in Japan.
Thereafter, she has ever released many singles and albums. In that period, she married Kazuaki Kiriya in 2002. He is a photographer and a movie director. Then she was 19 years old. And in 2004, she debuted as 'Utada' in the USA. But she divorced from him in 2007.
However, she has been being popular with many Japanese people.

Hello!!　I'll write about her history. She was born September 20, 1977 in Naha, Okinawa, Japan. When she was young, she longed for Janet Jackson. She joined "Okinawa Actors Scholl" at 10 years old. She practiced dance and singing a song very heard. When she was 14 years old, she debuted as Super Monkey's. Aside from group activities, she started to appear on TV as actor. In 1995, they released the single, "Try Me～Watashi wo Shinjite～". This single became hit song. She started to release solo singles in 1995. Until now, she is active long time in J-pop scene. She released the album "BEST FICTION" in July, 2008. And, she achieved three million sellers for the first time in history. She'll hold concert in October. If you are interested in, you'll take part in her concert.
